Srinagar/June,8: Deputy Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi has asked the administration to take immediate measures for rehabilitation of the affected families dislocated due to construction of Kishenganga Hydro Electric Project (KGHEP) in Gurez.
Reviewing the rehabilitation process of left-over 79 families at a high level meeting held under his Chairmanship here Thursday, the Deputy Speaker directed that all formalities in this regard should be completed at the earliest so that these families do not suffer.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Secretary, B. B. Vyas, Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department, Dheeraj Gupta, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan, Commissioner Secretary Revenue, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and other officers.
