Srinagar: The Assistant Directors of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir are fluting the transfer order of several officials ordered by Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir. The employees have sought action against the officers and officials showing non compliance.
Authoritative sources while disclosing this to Kashmir Horizon disclosed thar to bring transparency in the official business and in the interest of adminstration Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Kashmir issued some transfer and posting orders in the department . “Some officials working in district offices and Tehsil supply officer’s offices were shifted in the field and some fresh incumbents were posted in their place”, sources said, adding that “ this kind of action of Director FCS&CA Kashmir was appreciated by all ,because there was a demand from the general employees of the department to transfer the officials from AD and Tso offices on the grounds that these officials have been working there from decades together and are involved in nepotism”. Sources also said that due to over stay the work culture in these offices was badly hit and the transfer of these blue eyed officials can as such give a big respite to others working in the department. Sources said that though mostly all the assistant Directors have implemented the orders of the Director but some assistant directors are reluctant in relieving the officials from their offices which is flagrant violation of orders.
Sources said thatAssistant Directors of Pulwama ,Kupwara,Ganderbl, and Bandipore district have not complied the orders and allow transferees to work at their previous places without any rhyme or reason .
The Director is yet to take any disciplinary action against such officers. “The officials who have been posted in place of the officials of Assistant Directors office are in dilemma because they are not allowed to take charge from the former officials, which is not good for the health of indiscipline and accountability in the department”, the sources said
. Some of the employees are aggrieved about the campus approach of officers in the matter and have demanded that Director must take cognizance of the violation of his orders and get these blue eyed officials relieved from the places where they have been working from the day of appointments in the Department. Groups of employees have also demanded that in order to bring more transparency in the offices of AD Office Srinagar north and south the staff should be shifted to other offices either in Directorate office or in the districts and post some new faces in their places for the purposes of accountability.
