Handwara Admin reviews preparedness for Jan Abhiyan

Kupwara: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir Friday convened a meeting of Block Coordinators and BDC Chairpersons to review the preparedness for conducting of ‘Jan Abhiyan/Awami Muhim’ program in the Sub division.
The ADC impressed upon the concerned officers and BDC Chairpersons to evaluate the genuine demands of the people so that they can be resolved during the third phase of Back to Village program.
It was given out in the meeting that the Block Coordinators shall organize special village or panchayat level camps for issuance of domicile certificates, SC, ST, RBA and such other certificates issued by local Revenue authorities.
Besides, they shall also ensure village wise coverage of eligible beneficiaries for various schemes with special emphasis on pension, scholarships, KCC, Golden Cards, PM KISAN and PMKVY.
It was also given out in the meeting that ‘Block Divas’ will be conducted on every Wednesday of this month beginning from September 16 and shall conclude on September 30.
It was informed that all Block level officers shall visit their respective blocks with a planned agenda for identification of issues of the people during these days
