Frontline warriors fighting COVID-19 with dedication: IGP (HQ)

Srinagar: As part of fight against COVID-19 District Ayush office Budgam under the aegis of Directorate of Indian System of Medicine J&K organized an Immunity Booster Cum Awareness Camp on Monday for the staff of Police Headquarters Srinagar at the PHQ auditorium Srinagae.
IGP Headquarter PHQ Garib Dass, AIG (Provision/Transport) Rayees Mohammad Bhat, AIG (Welfare/Communication) Manoj Pandith, Chief Accounts Officer Amit Mahajan, other gazetted officers and personnel posted at PHQ attended the Camp.
Speaking on the occasion IGP Headquarters PHQ Garib Dass expressed his gratitude to the team of doctors and staff from Department of Ayush Budgam for organizing a comprehensive Immunity Cum Awareness Camp for the staff of Police Headquarters. He said doctors, police and other frontline warriors in the fight against COVID-19 have worked with full dedication for the safety and security of the people of J&K and to contain the spread of the deadly virus. He advised the staff to do regular exercises and to take hygienic food which will help in the fight against the CoronaVirus. He hoped that in near future similar camps would be organized in other wings of the Police department.
Earlier, in the beginning of the camp Dr Ali Mohd Reshi deliberated in detail about the Novel CoronaVirus and how to safeguard from getting infected with the usage of AYUSH medicines. He said that the Virus has become a big challenge for humanity throughout the world and added that due precautions in day to day life taken will definitely help us to protect from the virus. He said that the Ayush medicines which are being distributed by the different teams in Jammu and Kashmir is helping a lot in boosting immunity of individuals which in turn protects people from COVID-19 virus.He also appreciated the role of J&K Police in implementing all government advisories on ground to contain deadly virus, and acting as a front line warrior in the fight against COVID-19.
Later Dr Mushtaq Ahmad gave a demonstration of various Ayush medicines and its usage in boosting the immunity.The team distributed the Ayush Medicines to the officers and staff of PHQ for improving their immunity.Besides Dr Ali Mohd Reshi and Dr Mushtaq Ahamd, Dr Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Amin Bhat (Super Pharmacist), Gh. Hassan Dar (Pharmacist) and Shabir Ahmad were representing the team of Department of Ayush from district Budgam.
