Doda: University of Jammu has granted affiliation to Government Medical College, Doda for starting MBBS Course with 100 seats.
The University has also granted affiliation for running Paramedical Degree Courses with 60 seats, including 20 seats each in Medical Lab Technology, Dialysis Technology and Operation Theatre Technology. The step will greatly boost the academic activities in the institution and also benefit the entire region.
The Medical College management has hailed Atal Dullo, Financial Commissioner Health & Medical Education and Dr. Yashpal Sharma, Director Coordination, New Medical Colleges of the state, for providing every possible support for achieving this feat.
The Management has also expressed gratitude to Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice Chancellor University of Jammu, Prof. A.S. Jasrotia, Director College Development Council University of Jammu, Prof. N.C Digra, President Paramedical Council and Principal Government Medical College, Jammu, Prof. Pawan Malhotra, Director ASCOMS Jammu and Dr. Sandeep Singh, Registrar J&K Paramedical Council, for granting affiliation.
