Power shutdown in Jammu parts

Jammu  : Chief Engineer (Distribution) JPDCL,Jammu has informed that to carry out work for upgradation of 4-lane of Jammu-Akhnoor National Highway, the shutdown of 11KV GS-3 feeder and 11 KV Domana feeder and 33 KV Akhnoor-Pargwal Line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Dumi, Thathi and adjoining areas being fed from 11KV GS-3 feeder emanating from Receiving Station Gharota will remain affected on August 16 from 6 am to 11 am.

Similarly, the power supply to Dumi, Sobka, Sua No. 1 and adjoining areas being fed from 11 KV Domana feeder emanating from Receiving Station Akhnoor will remain affected on August 16 from 6 am to 11 am.

Likewise, the power supply to Pargwal, Channi Tanna, Rajpura, Bhalwal Bharat, Dhalwal Miulu, Hamipurkona, BSF and adjoining areas being fed from 33 KV Akhnoor-Pargwal Line will remain affected on August 16 from 6 am to 11 am.

However, to execute work of replacement of equipments at 132/33KV Grid Station Akhnoor, the shutdown of 132KV S/C Gladni-Kalakote Transmission Line is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to the areas fed from 132/33 KV Grid Station Akhnoor and Kalakote will remain affected on August 16 from 6 am to 11 am.

Similarly, for carrying out stringing of D/C Tower of 132KV Gladni–Kalakote Transmission Line, the shutdown of 33KV feeders – G6 & G9 is being observed.

During the shutdown, the power supply to Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Chowadi, Marble Market, MES, Sunjwan, Raddison Blue, Thonthly, Bjartg, Sheetli and adjoining areas will remain affected on August 16 from 6 am to 9 am.
