Srinagar: Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan has extended his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on eve of Janmashtami.
Extending his greetings, the Advisor said the festival celebrates the life and eternal teachings of Lord Krishna like discipline, knowledge, and selfless action.
Advisor Baseer Khan added that on this occasion, we should rededicate ourselves to the teachings of Lord Krishna and work for the creation of a peaceful, harmonious and enlightened society.
He advised people to celebrate this festival in adherence to all the SOPs and guidelines issued by the Administration.
The Advisor also prayed for the peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
