Srinagar/July, 26: Shifting of operation equipment from Sub District hospital Khansahib has triggered massive public protests in the area but the Chief Medical Officer Budgam is putting the onus on Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Attal Daloo and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole saying that the operation equipments are being shifted to Chadoora for COVID-19 patients under the instructions of Attal Daloo and Pandurang K Pole.
Witnesses told Kashmir Horizon that as the health officials of SDH Khansahib started shifting operation theatre equipments to Chadoora a huge crowd assembled at the hospital and stopped authorities from shifting the operation theatre equipment to Chadoora. Witnesses also said that authorities have already changed a local college into a Covid-19 health facility Centre where about 60 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment. However Chief Medical Officer Dr Tajamul Khan told Kashmir Horizon that he is following the instructions of Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education Attal Daloo and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Pandurang K Pole over the shifting of operation theatre equipment from SDH Khansahib to Chadoora but Financial Commissioner Health and Medical Education and as well as the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir are reported to have not issued any suchdirections for shifting of the operation theatre equipment from SDH Khansahib. to Chadoora.
