Srinagar/July, 26: Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JK CSF) on Sunday demanded immediate release of salaries to daily wagers, casual labours,Contingent paid workers ,NYCs , need based employees, un regularised RTs, Anangwadis, Asha workers and HDF workers before Eid-ul-Azha*
In a statement issued here on Sunday the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum (JK CSF) Chairman Ab Qayoom Wani urged the Jammu and Kashmir Government to release the pending salaries of daily wagers, casual need based, Contengent paid workers ,NYC ,anganwadi Staff, Asha workers, HDF contractuals and consolidated workers before Eid ul Azha. Wani said that these employees are without salaries for the last several months and as such are on the verge of starvation. He alleged that the govt is repeatedly violating the law of equal work, equal wages and minimum wages act in case of temporary employee. Wani urged the government to concede the long Pending demand of regularization of of all categories of temporary employes without any further delay. Wani demanded immediate release of assistance to widows, handicapped, orphans and old aged persons on the eve of EID , keeping in view the financial constraints of these people.
