Kishtwar: A series of farmers’ awareness camp organized at Gulab Garh Paddar marked the end of Kissan Pakhwara in Kishtwar district
The camps were organised by Agriculture and allied Departments in coordination with JK Bank branch Paddar was held under the overall supervision of Sub Division Magistrate, Paddar Varunjeet Singh Charak.
Sub Division Agriculture Officer Paddar Shammi Singh ,Tehsildar Atholi Paddar, Major Singh , field functionaries of the agriculture and allied Departments besides PRI members and a large number of locals attended the camp.
The camp witnessed the participation of over 150 farmers and shepherds of the area with the strict adherence to the Covid protection SOPs and guidelines of.
The KCC application forms along with booklets, leaflets, posters, charts highlighting the various centrally sponsored schemes of Agriculture and allied sectors were distributed among the participating farmers.
The SDAO ensured the presence of field functionaries at all venues to speed up the verification of KCC applications.
The farmers were informed by Bank representatives and field functionaries of the various departments about various Agriculture schemes and loan assistance provided under KCC.
On spot registration of left out farmers for KCC and PM KISSAN was also facilitated by the organisers.
