DDC B’pora discusses mobile, internet connectivity issues in Gurez valley with service providers

B’pora: District Development Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmed on Saturday held a meeting with Heads of the Internet Service Provider companies to discuss the mobile internet connectivity issues in Gurez Valley.
During the meeting the Deputy Commissioner laid emphasis on extension of fixed line internet connectivity in Gurez valley for the benefit of the general public especially students and traders.
The service providers assured the Deputy Commissioner that they will resolve the connectivity issue in Gurez valley on priority by increasing the mobile internet connectivity and extension of fixed line internet connectivity in Gurez valley as per Government guidelines.
Service providers assured that 17 sites are being surveyed for operation in Gurez and Tulail. They further said in view of online classes and many employees working from home the internet facilities are being maintained on top priority as per government directions from time to time.
