On World Skill day, the grand show of defection skills

Though Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his “World Skill Day” message asked the youth of the country to think about “ re-skill”and “up skill” for shaping the future of the country , but unfortunately the BJP’s grand show of “re skill and up skill” of political defections in Jaipur , Delhi and Srinagar are by no standards of understandabilities inspiring for the youth in any part of the country.  Unfortunately this BJP’s grand show of political skills of defections has obviously failed to take the missions of planned political coups to its logical conclusions and the failure of the BJP in this new skill of political defections has come as a huge disappointment for two youth leaders- Saichin Pilot in Jaipur and Sheik Imran in Srinagar. The Congress youth leader Saichin Pilot rebutting the charge that he is about to fall in the BJP’s defection  trap and the J&K Government’s announcement to put off the mayoral elections of SMC by three months are two big blows to BJP’s new skill of political defections. Instead of experimenting skill of political defections in Jaipur and Srinagar, it would have been better for the BJP top brass to focus on COVID-19 control skills and LAC stand off management skills in Ladhak. Unfortunately during last six years the BJP led NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has put on display only political skills and not developmental and technological skills. Had the BJP led NDA government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi focused on skills of governance, development and border management, the people in this country won’t have seen migrant workers becoming the victims of COVID crisis, five trillion economy coming down to an all time low and soldiers dying on borders in eastern Ladhak. Not the skill of political defections, but the skills to institutionalize growth, development, transparency and technology are in great demand as they only can release the pressure on ailing economy, normalize relations with all neighbouring countries and restore peace on borders in eastern Ladhak and other forward areas in border states of the country.

Not the skill of political defections, but the skills to institutionalize growth, development, transparency and technology are in great demand as they only can release the pressure on economy, normalize relations with all neighbouring countries and restore peace on borders in Ladhak and other forward areas in border states of the country.

Political leadership running the affairs of the central government has to use its skills to improve the economic , technological and institutional strengths of the country but not to further the causes of expansionism in domestic politics. The grand show of the skills of political defections put on display by BJP in several states like Karnatka, Madhya Pradesh and some north eastern states have shaken the faith of people in the slogans of the incumbent Modi government and as such better for it to revisit its priorities and plans for putting on display the skills of good governance, fast track development, peace and security in the larger interests of the country.
