Jammu/July, 10: Director Jammu and Kashmir Innovative Foundation For Transforming Society
( JKIFTS ), Dr Tasaduk  Hussain Itoo Friday held an e-meeting with Columnists Council of JKIFTS.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the way forward with Council members and build a roadmap as how the council shall work.

The meeting was hosted by Advocate Syed Mujtaba, one of the core executive members of the council and was attended by various members including Abrar Ul Mustafa, Azad Hussain, Syed Mohsin et all.

It is pertinent to mention that JKIFTS recently launched a council of Columnists under its development and innovation initiative for which Mushtaque B Barq ( noted writer and columnist) was nominated as Council Head.

Dr Tasaduk while adressing the members said that JKIFTS as an innovative organization firmly believe that Jammu and Kashmir is blessed with massive pool of young talented writers who write columns brilliantly with highly intellectualized research and thought process and whose columns are getting published in various banners on daily basis – that is surely a proud feeling of satisfaction. “We believe that they should continue this work with highest sort of passion, zeal and enthusiasm”, he said.

He said that to accentuate this talent with a direction, the advisory council was launched to encourage young writers as well as to come up with innovative initiatives under its ambit- to bring a positive transformation in the society.

He said that writers/columnists/intellectuals have a very crucial role to play in revolutionizing the society in various domains- be it social, political, economical, health, education, cultural, environmental etc.

“I feel emulated by the views put forth by members of the council during the meeting and would like to pay thanks to all of them”, he added.
