Govt Ayurvedic Hospital holds COVID awareness camp at Jammu Airport

Jammu: The Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu Thursday organized COVID awareness-cum-medical camp for distribution of Immuno boosters at the Civil Airport Jammu.
The camp was organized in pursuance to the directions of Lieutenant Governor, GC Murmu for providing AYUSH drugs beneficial for boosting immunity against COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking on the occasion, Airport Director, Airport Authority of India, Civil Airport, Jammu, Dr. P.R. Beuria thanked Director, ISM, Dr. Mohan Singh for organizing the camp and appreciated the distribution of immunity boosting medicine among highly exposed staff of various organizations working in the Civil Airport. “This gesture of the Health Department would further boost the morale of these front line workers”, he added.
Meanwhile, a team of doctors made the people aware about the importance of Ayurvedic immunity boosting medicines in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.They also briefed about the uses, dosage and contraindications of the medicines distributed in the camp.
Dr. Konika Bhagat, Medical Officer Ayush, PHC Airport, highlighted the importance of strong immune system in fighting external diseases.
