COVID-19 In JK : 3 new deaths reported, death toll mounts to 78

Srinagar/June,  22 : A 58-year-old  Kokernag resident  died on Monday at CD hospital Srinagar after testing positive.  With this death the total number of deaths has mounted  to 85 in Jammu and Kashmir .

Dr. Saleem Tak Medical Superintendent at CD hospital said a 58-year-old man had tested positive patient and was shifted here from GMC Anantnag on 19th of June”.

He said that patient was on ventilator and was suffering from thyroid and pneumonia.

Earlier, a 65-year-old male from Pulwama died at SMHS. Nazir Choudhary Medical Superintendent at SMHS said a 65 year old male from Kakapora area of Pulwama district who had tested positive died  in the night intervening Sunday and Monday at SMHS hospital Srinagar. He was suffering from bilateral pneumonia, diabetes and hypertension, he said.

With two more deaths, the death toll in J&K has mounted to 85.
