Srinagar:After three-month-long lockdown for over three months in wake of COVID-19 outbreak, the markets across Srinagar district witnessed hustle-bustle again as the shops and other business establishments re-opened on Saturday.
The district administration Srinagar on Friday ordered re-opening of markets in the district after three-month-long lock down, which was announced to prevent the deadly virus from spreading.
Witnesses said the markets across Srinagar re-opened today while people were seen buying essentials throughout the day.
The Administration ordered re-opening of markets and asked people to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) in letter and spirit. The decision was hailed by the trade bodies who also appealed the people especially traders to follow the SOPs in letter and spirit
