Ang: After proper medical scrutiny as many as 626 migrant labourers returning from various districts of the valley were Saturday sent to their homes in 30 buses from Qazigund in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, K.K Sidha.
Special arrangements were put in place by district administration Anantnag including transportation, refreshment medicine and other facilities for their safe travel.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC said district administration is fully equipped to combat the COVID–19 threat and all the migrant labourers who wish to return to their home will be facilitated through all respects, advising the labourers to follow SOPs while travelling to their homes.
The DDC on the occasion was accompanied ADC, District COVID–19 Nodal Officer and other concerned officers.
