Ganderbal/June,7: Ex President Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Association Gh Nabi Mir and Civil Society Member Gh Nabi Mir on Sunday sought equal share for Ganderbal in the recently announced notification for over 7000 Class IV posts by Jammu and Kashmir Government.
In a statement issued here on Sunday Mir said out of 7052 posts that have been referred to SSB for the recruitment of iv-class employees,only a marginal 2 digit number quota has been notified for Ganderbal district, which he said, has angered many public organisations of the district. Among others, some Prominent Members of Civil Society Ganderbal like, Mohd Maqbool Ganie (State President J&K coordination committee of Trade Unions) termed the above referred government decision a discriminatory approach towards the youth of Ganderbal district .
Member Civil Society Ganderbal & Ex-President teachers Association Mir appealed the government to re-consider the district wise allocation of the iv-class posts for the same shall deprive the youth of district of their right to public employment.
“The issue is gaining significance in the public domain and is viewed very seriously by the people from all walks of life ” he said in the statement . Both Mohd Maqbool & Gulam Nabi Mir appealed the LT Governor GC Murmu led Adminstration to ensure equal share of recently notified 7052 class IV posts as otherwise this, according to them, would be an injustice with the people of Ganderbal district.
