Qayoom Wani slams CEO Doda for suspending a teachers on charges of helping poor, needy amid COVID-19 lockdown, seek immediate revocation

Srinagar/May,30 : Former President Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and civil society leader Ab Qayoom Wani on Saturday sought immediate revocation of the suspension of a teacher in Doda district as he slammed the Chief Education officer for what he called “ a shameful act” amid COVID-19 lockdown and fear of spread of the deadly disease.
Taking to micro blogging social networking site twitter, Wani wrote “ suspension of teacher Aijaz Rana of Doda for helping poor and needy people at this difficult time by CEO#shameful act. The concerned officer is a blot on the face of humanity. Order needs to be revoked immediately”. Reports said the teacher is generous enough to help poor and needy presently in a state of distress in Chenab Valley’s Doda district. The action of Chief Education Officer has been widely condemned within and outside the district.
