2 killed,1 injured in road accident at Pampore

Pampore: Two persons were killed while as another sustained serious injuries in a road accident on Srinagar-Jammu highway near Pampore Saturday morning.
According to police two persons were killed on the spot while as another person was seriously injured in a collision between Maruti car bearing registration number JK02U-9209 and a Truck driven by Adil Mohideen of Frestabal Pampore bearing number JK01A-7675 near Chandhara crossing area of Pampore.
A police official told Kashmir Reader that the truck was on its way from Khyber Cement plant Khanmoh to Awantipora and Maruti car on its way to Srinagar.
The deceased have been identified as Mohammad Ishaq and Mohammad Muslim, both residents of Kargil.
Soon after the accident a police party from Pampore Police Station reached the spot and shifted the injured Mohammad Bakir to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment where from he was referred to SKIMS hospital Srinagar in critical condition while the dead bodies were taken to SDH Pampore.
Traffic was immediately restored by police on the highway.
