Govt teachers not admitting their children in government schools a strange paradox : Samoon

Srinagar/May,18: Principal Secretary School Education Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon has said that Government School teachers not admitting their children in government schools is a strange paradox.
Taking to micro blogging social networking site twitter Samoon wrote “I often wonder why Govt School teachers In JKUT enroll their own children in the very private schools whose contribution to quality education they don’t wish to acknowledge; a strange paradox indeed; it speaks volumes about Quality Education that we all aspire for in Govt Schools”. It may be mentioned here that poor infrastructure in government schools is cited a reason for poor infrastructure in government schools where government does not provide students the much needed transport facility and conventional wooden easels and boards are yet to be replaced by marker white boards used in private schools. Above all the government is yet to replace conventional matting system by desk chair seating arrangements in majority of government schools in rural areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
