Srinagar, June 19: Senior Kashmiri photojournalist Nissar Ahmad passed away on Wednesday after long illness.
As per family sources, Ahmad breathed his last today at SMHS hospital where he was admitted yesterday morning after his health deteriorated.
Ahmad has extensively covered Kashmir situation since the eruption of militancy. He had been working with Hindu newspaper for the past two decades.
His funeral is expected to take place around 3pm at Khalid Bin Waleed colony in Natipora locality of Srinagar.
