Srinagar : BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh who is also party incharge for J&K and Ladakh today lambasted National Conference president Farooq Abdullah for suggesting dialogue with Pakistan at a time when Pakistan has been sending organised groups of militants to J&K to step up militant activities.
In a strong reaction to Abdullah’s suggestion Chugh said that Pakistan needed to be dealt with only in the manner it has been behaving with India by promoting and plotting cross-border militancy.
Chugh said the Modi government was determined to decimate the Pakistan sponsored militancy first then think of anything else.
“Farooq Abdullah should stop behaving like a Pakistan ISI PRO and think of India as a nation first”, said Chugh adding that it is strongly reprehensible that instead of asking Pakistan to stop militant activities in J&K Abdullah was suggesting India to go for peace talks.
Chugh said it is extremely unfortunate that Abdullahs have been always speaking in the voice of Pakistan and have no concern for the development and growth of the common man in J&K.
At a time when tourism is at its peak in J&K the Pakistan-sponsored militancy should be strongly condemned by Abdullahs. Äbdullah should instead tell their mentors in Pakistan to stop cross-border militancy and then make any suggestion to the Modi government”, Chugh added(KNS)
