New Delhi/Aug,5 : Amid reports over central government’s planned moves to amend article 35 A providing special citizenship and property rights to the people of Jammu & Kashmir the four parliament members two each from National Conference (NC) and Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) staged a sit in at Gandhi Samadhi New Delhi soon after the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi end at his 7 Race course residence in dELHI.
Reports said that four parliament members two each from National Conference and PDP stage a sit in at Gandhi Samadhi to protest the central government’s planned moves to amend article 35 A providing special citizenship and property rights to the people of Jammu & Kashmir. The parliament members staging on sit in at Gandhi Samadhi include Mohammad Akbar Lone and Justice Hasnain Masoodi of National Conference and Mir Mohammad Fayaz and Nazir Ahmad Laway of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
