Srinagar /Feb,10: Four policemen, three CRPF men and three civilians were on Sunday evening injured in a grenade throwing incident in Pallaidum gali in City centre Lal Chowk.
Official sources said suspected militants Sunday evening hurled a grenade at 132 Battalion CRPF in Palladium gali Lal Chowk which exploded with a big bang resulting in injuries to four policemen, three CRPF men and three civilians
โTen persons including four cops, three CRPF men and three civilians sustained injuries in the blast. All of them are stable,โ adding that the injured policemen were identified as Ashiq Ahmed, Abid Ahmed , Muhammad Shafi, and Nasir Ahmed while as CRPF men were identified as ASI R Munaswami, constable Vishal and Constable Davinder of 132 battalaion.
The injured civilians were identified as Humaira wife of Sajad Ahmed Baba of Harwan, Abdul Qayoom of Mandibal Nowshera and Taliba Gulsan wife of Iftkhiar Ahmed of Dalgate, Srinagar.
