Srinagar, Nov 28: Two militants were killed while three Army men sustained injuries in an encounter that raged between forces and militants in Chattergam area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
Officials said that two militants were killed in the gunfight that raged following the search operation in Chattergam village.
They said that identity of the slain militants is being ascertained.
Officials added that three Army men have also sustained injuries in the gunfight.
However, unconfirmed reports said that Naveed Jatt, a top Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, is also among the slain militants.
