Srinagar: Shutdown against the killing of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader Hafizullah Mir called by Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Geelani and the Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq the Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman and Yaseen Malik the JKLF Chairman hit normal life on Thursday across Kashmir.
All shops and other business establishments are closed while public transport is mainly off the roads in summer capital Srinagar and other district headquarters of the Kashmir valley.
Hafizullah Mir Tehreek-e-Hurriyat’district president Anantnag was shot dead by unknown gunmen at his home in Achabal area of southern Anantnag district on Tuesday this week.
