Jammu : The Governor Satya Pal Malik on Monday appointed KK Sharma as his advisor. The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint K K Sharma as his advisor from the date he assumes charge, said an order issued Monday. “The terms and conditions of his appointment shall be notified separately,” it added. Sharma is a resident of Billawar area of Jammu. Sharma is a former Chief Secretary of Goa and Ex Secretary Higher education of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, as his fourth Advisor.
Sources while disclosing this to Kashmir News Service revealed that like K Vijay Kumar one of the present three advisors to Governor, K K Sharma is also a non J&K cadre All India Services officer and appointment of 4th Advisor to Governor from outside Jammu and Kashmir indicates that the state is set for a long spell of Governor’s rule and interestingly the Governor is constitutionally bound to dissolve state assembly by or before 17th December this year if new popular government is not put in place before 17th December.
After the appointment of 4th Advisor, the Governor Satya Pal Malik is likely to reshuffle the port folios of his present three advisors and alot some of the port folios held by them to new advisor KK Sharma
