Sopore/Nov, 2: A complete shutdown against the killing of a militant Thursday evening in Handwara and restrictions by law enforcing authorities to prevent protests against the killing hit normal life on Friday in Sopore town of North Kashmirโs Baramulla district.
Reports said that all shops and other commercial establishments are closed while public transport is off the roads.
Government forces have imposed restrictions in parts of Sopore town to prevent protests against killing of Naseer Teli, a resident of Gulabad Arampora, in a brief shootout in Sagipora area of Handwara Thursday night.
Authorities have also suspended the Internet service and closed educational institutions in Sopore.
