Srinagar : Chairman PDF & MLA Khansahib Hakeem Yaseen has strongly condemned statement of Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath that Hindus and Sikhs were no longer safe in Kashmir adding that it was aimed at to instigate communal hatred in the restive state.
In a statement issued Tuesday Hakeem Yaseen said that the state has remained an abode of communal harmony from centuries adding that the Yogi should get knowledge about the rich culture and communal ethos of the state first and then express his comments.. He said that the statement of Yoggi that Hindus were safe in Dogra rule , was far from truth as Hindus and Sikhs always lived in communal harmony with their Muslim brothers .He said the statement made by Yoggi was totally distortion of facts and deserves severe condemnation. He has sought apology from the Yoggi for hurting sentiments of the people of the state on this account.
Hakeem Yaseen has asked the Prime Minister Narinder Modi to seek explanation from Yoggi for trying to foment communal frenzy in the state through his controversial statement
