Srinagar/April,15: Two persons were killed and five others injured in a road accident on Sunday in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said.
A spokesman, in a statement, said that a mini bus, bearing registration number JK03-8621, turned turtle at K.B. Pora in Kulgam today morning at 9:30 am.
He said seven persons were injured in the accident, adding all the injured were rushed to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment where two of them succumbed.
The deceased were identified as Nazir Ahmad Magray and Musaib Manzoor Wagay.
The spokesman identified the injured as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh son of Ghulam Qadir, Nasreena wife of Irshad Ahmad Naik, Amina Bano wife of Mohammad Maqbool Khan, Dilshada Akhtar wife of Fayaz Ahmad Reshi – all residents of Asnoor and Mohammad Maqbool Wani son of Abdul Ghaffar resident of Chekhwatoo.
He said police has registered a case into the accident.
