Madrid, May 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today had a meeting with President of Spain Mariano Rajoy during which the leaders discussed the areas, including anti-terror cooperation, in which they could work together both globally and bilaterally.
Mr Modi arrived here last night from Berlin from where he had started his four-nation tour on Monday.
After meeting the Spanish President at la Moncloa Place here, Mr Modi said in a media statement that they discussed various issues, including those which had global repercussions and, also the ways in which the two could countries could cooperate in these areas.
“India and Spain can cooperate in so may areas,including infrastructure.
We must have closer economic ties,’’ Mr Modi said.
